How does Shoreditch Security handle alarm response requirements?

Shoreditch Security handles alarm response requirements through a structured keyholding and rapid response service, designed to deal with alarm activations quickly, safely, and in line with agreed procedures.

When an alarm is triggered, a trained, SIA-licensed responder is dispatched to attend the site. On arrival, the officer carries out external checks and, where safe and authorised, internal inspections to determine the cause of the activation. If necessary, we liaise with emergency services, secure the premises, and follow all escalation steps agreed with the client.

Alarm response services are typically provided on a subscription and call-out basis, rather than hourly guarding.

Typical alarm response pricing includes:

  • Monthly subscription: £25–£50 per month

  • Call-out fee: £70–£120 per attendance

If ongoing guarding is required after a response, this can be arranged separately. All procedures and costs are agreed in advance.

What happens when an alarm is triggered?

A responder attends the site, investigates safely, and follows agreed escalation steps, including securing the premises or contacting emergency services if required.

Do you liaise with emergency services during alarm activations?
